NEW STATE OF THE ART TECHNOLOGY CENTER IN INDIA IS OFFICIALLY INAUGURATED
On the occasion of the official launch of the new India Technology Centre, members of the senior leadership team Chun Woytera, President Asia Pacific and Marc Kermisch, CIO and ad interim CTO and Quality Officer were in the country to tour the facility and the region. The newly built Center is located in the Social Economic Zone of Gurugram, southwest of the country’s capital New Delhi in northern India.
The visit was a significant moment to inaugurate and officially announce the India Technology Center as a strategic hub which is an integral part of our company’s global R&D footprint focusing on product development and digital solutions. It has over 150 employees and is ramping up operations by hiring through a rigorous and discerning talent search that prioritizes diversity.
Ashish Sharma, Leader, India Technology Center said, “The India Technology Center is set up to maximize the efficiency and effectiveness of our Research and Development, build skills & capabilities for CNH Industrial and increase capacity and capability for the regional & global programs.” The Technology Center is the first of its kind in India, equipped with the latest technology and capabilities including an innovation center, vehicle simulation and a state-of-the-art Extended Reality/Virtual Reality laboratory to support global technology-led projects. Chun, Marc and the APAC leadership team were given a warm Indian welcome with garlands and vermillion.
The Center started operations in 2021 and considering its early returns, the addition of further design development spaces for additive manufacturing, embedded software, data analytics, and user Interface & User Experience (UI/UX) with advanced simulation capabilities are foreseen. This site will play a strategic role for collaborative efforts with our other R&D centers around the world to innovate and leverage the leading-edge technology and digital ecosystem in India, with increased efficiencies to benefit our customers.

Namita Singh, Program Manager, India Technology Center added, “The Leadership team visited us at ITC on the 8th March, which was co-incidentally International Women’s Day and I had the opportunity to share our contribution on a Cost Saving CE Cluster Localisation initiative, where apart from supporting Technical specification updates, requirements re-engineering and integrated SW test setup and execution at Bench, ITC is facilitating project management and overall co-ordination from the Technology side too. Presenting to the leadership team was a gesture of recognition for team efforts and will motivate us all to go that extra mile in upcoming endeavors.”
